This book is very affordable and I found it very useful on preparing not only a disaster kit but a well thought out plan for survival from making potable drinking water to preparing yourself for looters and protecting your home. I am not an extremist of anyone thinks the world will end tomorrow but just like you I was researching one day about different ways I can prepare myself for disasters like Katrina and the tsunamis overseas and found myself well.....very unprepared.
